I recently came across this great band called The Dirtbombs. Headed by Mick Collins, the band does a fantastic job of combining elements of soul and garage rock.
Here is one of their great recordings called "Chains of Love"
Hope this tune preps you up as you prepare to squander your night away doing whatever it is you do.
Happy Wakings!

I like football for many reasons. One of them being the many young and good looking men that grace the pitch every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
I also like it because of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Not only does he have a body that has been sculpted by the Gods, he knows so too and has no shame in letting everyone else know how good he looks and how awesome he is:
Yes I know, that's isn't the real Ronaldo.
While I usually watch all of my football games during my all-nighters (Europe is 8 hours ahead of me, so I'm able to watch the games fairly easily online), on nights where there are no games to be watched, I enjoy reading about anything and everything having to do with these wonderful players.
Happy Waking!

While I enjoy watching short videos via the web, I especially enjoy watching feature length ones as well.
In honor of Jeremy Renner (he's been nominated for best actor in the academy awards), tonights video to watch will be of one of his older films titled, "12 and Holding". He plays the object of affection for a 12 year old hormonal pre-teen. The movie is rather good.
It's always nice seeing accomplished actors in films before their careers took off.
I've posted part 1 here, but you can watch the rest by clicking on the links after part 1 is finished.
Happy Waking!
Tonight I'm going to share with you a little video I made about my cousin Yoyyo. He is three. He loves to draw and during Christmas dinner, he managed to pump out about 20 drawings. I found them under my bed a week later and couldn't not do something with them.
This project is my first venture into stop-motion photography, so please forgive me if it's lacking in any way.
Another thing I always like to do while pulling all-nighters is search the web for interesting videos.
One of my recent favorites is a short called "Alma" by Pixar animator Rodrigo Blaas.
Watch it here:

Hope you enjoyed this little short as much as I did.
Tea is such a versatile thing. I myself enjoy a nice hot mug 'o' tea during my all-nighters. And because I so enjoy my tea, this topic will be a recurring theme throughout this blog.
Rather than spoil the fun and tell you of all of the endless flavors tea has to offer, we're going to start of with a few of my favorites, then work our way up.
The first and perhaps most popular tea you can make during your all-nighter is green tea:
Some interesting facts about Green Tea:
- Green tea is green because it is not fermented.
- Green tea has been shown to increase calorie burning and fat oxidation.
- The antioxidants in green tea fight disease and kill cancer cells.
- All teas contain the potent antioxidants known as polyphenols, but green tea contains the most potent forms. *
Hope you decide to brew yourself a cup.
Happy waking!
